Clean up Wittenoom

It's time to clean it up!

BNTAC exists to protect Banjima Country, culture, and community. There is not a Banjima family that hasn’t been impacted by Wittenoom. BNTAC  is leading the #CleanUpWittenoom campaign to achieve long-overdue remediation, ensure native title rights are upheld and that the devestating health impacts of Wittenoom don't continue to harm the next generation.

Three million tonnes of blue asbestos tailings were dumped at Wittenoom– enough to fill the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) to the brim twice over.

It's time to #CleanUpWittenoom.
